This hybrid watertight cable is specifically designed for underwater and harsh-environment applications requiring simultaneous low-voltage DC power delivery, shielded CAT5 Ethernet communication, and high tensile strength. It integrates two 0.75 mm²power conductors and one STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) CAT5 data core into a multi-layer water-sealed structure, reinforced with high-strength tensile members to achieve a 500KG breaking strength. Utilizing PE (Polyethylene) as the core insulation material for all electrical elements, the cable provides excellent dielectric properties, low moisture absorption, and radial watertight performance. It is ideal for applications such as ROVs, subsea cameras, shipboard Ethernet backbones, offshore platforms, and marine surveillance systems - where stable power, noise-immune high-speed data transmission, and mechanical robustness against pulling forces are critical, all within a watertight envelope. By combining good electrical characteristics with robust environmental and mechanical resistance, this cable ensures reliable operation even under deep-sea pressure, long-term seawater immersion, and moderate tension loads.

Key Features – PE Insulated Cores, STP CAT5 Ethernet & 500KG Tensile Rating

500KG tensile strength (integrated strength members allow the cable to withstand up to 500 kg of pulling load without damage to electrical or signal integrity)

PE-insulated power and CAT5 signal cores offer stable signal integrity, a wide -40°C to +80°C operating range, very low moisture absorption (ideal for underwater use), excellent chemical resistance to seawater and many hydrocarbons, and good flexibility.

STP CAT5 construction provides exceptional EMI rejection, supporting full 100BASE‑TX or 1000BASE‑T Ethernet with minimal crosstalk.

Multi-layer water-blocking and pressure-resistant construction guarantees absolute watertight integrity under high hydrostatic pressure.

Ideal For

Subsea robots (ROVs/AUVs) and underwater cameras requiring real-time video streaming, sensor data, and DC power over a single cable that must also endure deployment and recovery tensions

Submarine and shipboard Ethernet networks with watertight bulkhead penetration for shielded CAT5 links, where cables may be pulled through conduits or armored structures

Subsea observatories and ocean monitoring nodes (cabled Ethernet instruments) subject to ocean currents and installation stresses

Offshore drilling platforms and marine renewable energy systems where cables are routed through dynamic zones with moderate tension

Military and defense underwater surveillance and communication systems demanding high mechanical reliability

Any underwater application requiring reliable low-voltage power + shielded CAT5 Ethernet + watertight integrity plus 500kg tensile capacity without need for additional armoring

This cable simultaneously satisfies underwater equipment needs for stable power delivery, high‑speed noise‑immune Ethernet communication, and mechanical strength under high hydrostatic pressure and moderate pulling forces.

It is an ideal solution for fields such as marine engineering, subsea video surveillance, oceanographic research, and underwater defense networks.
